Masoumeh Bahrami is an Iranian musician specializing in the tombak, the iconic percussion instrument of Persian classical music. She discovered the instrument during her adolescence within a family of artists and began learning alongside her brother. She later continued her training with renowned tombak masters, particularly Jafar Ghaziasgar, and further developed her technique and musical approach through workshops and masterclasses led by Navid Afghah.
Over the years, she has taken part in numerous concerts and educational performances, sharing the rich rhythmic traditions of Persian music with diverse audiences. Since settling in Paris in 2024, she has continued her musical activities, performing at several festivals across Europe — particularly in France and Germany — including the Camerata Figarella Festival, and collaborating on interdisciplinary projects that combine music and theatre.
